Sam Adams was named Associate Vice President of Budget and Planning in August 2017. In this role, Sam has responsibility for the University Budget Office, coordinating the annual budget process, and collaborating with leaders throughout the organization to set the University’s overall financial strategy. Prior to this role, Sam was the Associate Chief Financial Officer and Director of Finance for the IU School of Medicine. Before coming to Indiana University in 2013, Sam held accounting and finance roles at Rolls-Royce North America and was an auditor at a public accounting firm. Sam graduated with a B.S. in Accounting from the IU Kelley School of Business and is a Certified Public Accountant.
