Don is Associate Vice President and Treasurer. His responsibilities include Capital Finance, Treasury Operations, and Insurance and Loss Control. Don came to IU this past April after spending nearly 10 years at Citizens Energy Group in Indianapolis. Don had been Director of Treasury at Citizens where he led the issuance of over $1.5 billion of debt, including a $1 billion issuance to finance the acquisition of the City of Indianapolis’ water and wastewater utilities in 2011. Don also spent time in corporate development at Citizens helping the company to launch new ventures in alternative transportation fuels and oil exploration. Don is a Certified Public Accountant and spent the first four years of his career as an auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Don graduated from the IU Kelley School of Business with a B.S. in Accounting in 1997. He returned to Kelley and received an M.B.A. in Finance and Strategic Management in 2003.
